Linda Plowman Fikes

One thing I'd like to share that has helped me through the rough times is positive thinking.  You can exercise the power of positive thinking by controlling your attitude and focusing on your faith through daily prayer and Bible study.

"Positive Thinking," the phrase made famous by Norman Vincent Peale in his 1952 best-seller, The Power of Positive Thinking, is simply another term for belief in oneself and faith in God.  With your faith in God, and by believing in yourself, you can make the choices and decisions for your life that will sustain you.  My favorite Norman Vincent Peale quote is: "The secret of life isn't what happens to you, but what you do with what happens to you."

I believe with all of my heart that as we continuously have faith and choose to trust God amidst our adversities, he will enable us to make a difference.  He will enable us to do our purpose for him.
